I’m going to let you all in on a secret: I LOVE autumn! It’s the one time of year where I can wear layers and don’t get make fun it for it (I am not kidding, I am always cold lol). You can check out one of my favorite fall coats looks here. Having grown up in Northern New Jersey, I have a few places that I like to visit for apple and pumpkin picking:

Tranquility Farms

When it comes to apple  & pumpkin picking in northern NJ, I immediately think of Tranquility Farms. If you are looking for a family outing, this is the farm to visit! You can expect a little of everything. There are hayrides to the pumpkin patches or if you are not able to, pick one from their market stand. In addition, there is also a corn maze, a massive jump pillow and cow train for kids to enjoy. Plus they have homemade ice cream and fresh produce you can buy to take home.

Melrick’s Town Farm

A hidden gem in northern New Jersey that offers several orchards of apples for you to pick. On your way to the orchards, you can enjoy a hayride by beautiful horses and charming wooden baskets to put in your sweet fruit. Additionally,  the farm stand offers you a chance to purchase local wine, cheese and honey. More so, this is a great farm to go to if you want to avoid large crowds, even on the weekend!

Alstede Farms

Another great farm in northern New Jersey that offers everything. There are dozens of apple orchards to pick from. Additionally, you can also pick pumpkins from their pumpkin field and take a stroll through their sunflower maze. I recommend getting to the farm early. This is a farm well-known in the area and it can get busy! I have also been told that they now charge $20 for parking so make sure you have cash on you.
