Hi love! Nothing is more romantic than lace detailing. Spring fashion calls for lace pieces in my opinion. The top that I have featured in my images is sold out so I found some of my favorite lace tops that vary from difference price ranges and vary in style. Keep in mind that pieces with lace are delicate. So be sure to hand wash your new favorite top to persevere its’ beauty!

Hi loves! I hope you had an awesome weekend and a lovely Easter! I got the chance to enjoy a pool party with my second family. Nothing like summer weather in April right? The warm sunny day put me in the mood to bring out one of my favorite maxi dresses. This blue one is by Felicity and Coco. It’s super light and if hides your mid-section if that is an area of your body you are not a fan of. I have linked some accessories to pair with the dress along with some whimsical pool accessories.

Hi ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful Monday. If there is one brand I cannot get enough of, it is Kate Spade. The company offers the most whimsical pieces and timeless looks. The dress that I have featured is Kate Spade’s flamingo blaire dress. I love the flamingo print! The shoes that I have paired for this look are by Jennifer Lopez at Kohls. My ring purse is by LC Lauren Conrad (which is also sold at Kohls). Finally, my hoops are made by Swarovski. I have also added some of my current favorite whimsical Kate Spade pieces below. What are some items that you love by Kate Spade? Feel free to leave me a comment below.

Happy Wednesday loves! You may notice that your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages are filled with fellow bloggers showing off their off the shoulder pieces. The trend is not going away soon and for good reason! Off the shoulder tops offer versatility that you can use on a night out or for work. The floral off the shoulder top featured in these post is by Loft. The pattern in itself is pretty but my favorite part is the gold foil accents not the shirt. My jeans are also by Loft. Petite ladies always want to keep a pair of skinny jeans handy as they give the illusion that you legs are longer. Add your favorite pair of rose gold flats and you are ready for a great day!

Hi loves! I hope you are all off to a great start to your week. There is a misconception that petite women cannot wear midi skirts. I am here to prove to you that this is not the case! When styled properly, a midi skirt is a great piece for petite women to enjoy. Here a few tips to help you style a maxi skirt with ease:

  1. Always tuck in your shirt. The midi skirt that I am wearing is old out but I wanted to point out that it was not a petite midi skirt. It is a regular sized midi skirt that I am wearing high-waisted. So don’t be afraid to pick out a regular sized midi skirt. Just be sure it is no one than 2 inches past your knee.
  2. Heels are a must. Midi skirts simply look far too long without them.
  3. Avoid  long pieces. The trick to wearing a midi skirt as a petite woman is to balance out your look. For example, you are going to want to avoid a long cardigan or jacket when wearing a midi skirt. Instead, opt for a jacket or cardigan that is cropped.

Below I have added a list of maxi skirts varying in different price ranges. Don’t be afraid to try a midi skirt ladies. It just might become your new favorite piece. I know it is for me!
