Suede boots ; also sold here

For the record ladies and gents, you are going to be seeing a lot of posts featuring off the shoulder tops because I am just that in love with the trend (sorry not sorry). Of course when I saw this striped off the shoulder top at J Crew, I had to get it! There is a navy blue option but I chose to pick the mustard yellow color. I love the bracelet sleeves! Take it from me, this is a great weekend top to enjoy to transition from winter to spring (especially with the warm weather we have been having on the east coast lately).

It’s a unique color that is not in my wardrobe. I chose to pair the top with my favorite Paige jeans and my favorite suede boots (mine are by Steve Madden). Pairing a choker with an off the shoulder top will always make you look chic. This is a look that is super easy to put together! I hope you enjoy it. What are some of your favorite transitional pieces? Feel free to leave me a comment below!

I also added some additional off the shoulder tops that are on my wishlist.

Well this week is one for the books. Have you ever had one of those weeks where absolutely nothing goes right? My blog was down for the day and I was so upset! In the end, stressful days are bound to happen. Always remember to be kind to those you are seeking help from. It’s hard to stay calm in stressful situations. But don’t make someone else’s day worse. <3

For this week’s post, I was inspired by fellow fashion and travel blogger Latz from adayinthelatz.com to show you how I style soft, silky scarfs. Her site features modest fashion that I simply cannot get enough of! Needless to say, if you want inspiration to look polished every day, I totally recommend following her!

Soft scarfs are the best because their versatility. Pleats are a trend that you are going to find on dresses, skirts, and even scarfs like this one! It was hard to say no to a scarf like this – the print is so charming! This piece is made of our 100% polyester. To preserve the pleated design on the scarf, make sure you hand wash it or get it dry cleaned.

I have also link additional outfit details on the link below. If you are having a hard time finding pieces from winter to spring, I have some advice to help you here. If you are having a stressful week (or month), I hope that your stress comes to an end soon. Enjoy your weekend loves!

I love putting together a casual look to celebrate the start of new weekend. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE that fact that I need to wear business casual at my job. But a girl needs to slip into jeans every once in a while! In the past, I have always avoid the color gray because I felt like it washed me out. Not to worry though, gray is a color that everyone can pull off..with the right accessories. 😉

The gray suede jacket that I have featured in these images is by Alfani (it also comes in black). Macys has this jacket for sale and it is 50% off! I chose to use a floral printed top to pair with my suede jacket. (Plus, this is a great look that can help you transition from winter to spring). My jeans of choice are always by Paige. They run on the pricer side but are well worth it (since they are super comfortable). I also like jeans from Express (and now they have petite sizes).

Since we have a few more weeks left of winter, I am using my all of my favorite soft scarfs. A winter outfit can’t be complete without a pair of knee high boots. My boots are Kendall and Kylie’s Fedra knee boots. If you have a wide foot, I do recommend that you purchase these boots a half a size up. I have also added link below to other petite friendly knee boots.

Have an awesome weekend loves!

Top: Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren | Clutch: Francescas | Jeans: Paige | Bracelets: Alex and Ani

Hi loves! Off the shoulder tops are my go-to trend. Off the shoulder tops are effortlessly chic and go great with just about any skirt or pants. I am so in love with this Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren top. It’s a great transitional piece that can be used from winter to spring. I love how it has a relaxed fit (and it is also not too bag so it won’t make you look smaller). The neckline has an elastic that allows you to wear this piece off the shoulder or on your shoulders if you so desire. This is a very light piece, so I do not recommend throwing it in the washing machine. Be sure to hand wash it!

I am not one for conventionality. That being said, I believe that white jeans should be enjoyed all year round! I love jeans from Paige. They fit my little petite frame so well! The jeans that I have on your Paige’s Verdugo Cropped Skinny Jeans. These are a pair of white jeans that I can confidently wear without worrying if you can see my little cheeks or my panties lol. 😉

Before I left on my trip to Mexico, I could not find any of my sandals. So I had to run to my local Kohls to see if there were any in stock. And to my surprise, I cam across Madden NYC Safire sandals. What sold me on these babies were the rhinestone accents. Believe me when I say, these are a pair of sandals that will be your go-to for a casual day or night out. Not to mention they are really comfortable!

What is your go-to trend of the year so far? Feel free to leave me a comment below. And as always, thank you for taking the time to read my blog posts. I appreciate more than you know <3.

It’s been a while since I have had the chance to do studio photos. ^_^

Dress: Karen Kane

Ah Valentine’s Day! Whether you are single or taken, this is a day to dress up in something that makes you look and feel amazing. So this Valentine’s Day, make it special. Whether this means you are are staying in the night or going out to your favorite restaurant, make an effort to have a good time.  You deserve it!

The dress I am wearing is Karen Kane’s scalloped lace sheath dress. This dress will hug the curves of your body without feeling heavy. I love the V-neck and the sheer sleeves. The sleeve are quarter lengthened which makes this Karen Kane dress perfect for a winter date night.

The moment I put this on, my boyfriend insisted that I purchase it. So take it from me ladies, if you want to turn heads, this is the dress to rock. Petite ladies don’t need to fret because this is a dress that also come in petite sizes. Keep in mind that this dress also comes in two other colors (in case black is not something you want to wear on Valentine’s Day). When it comes time to wash this piece, be sure to hand wash it under cold water. You don’t want to mess with the exquisite lace on the dress!

I went with a nude pink lipstick (‘Baci‘ by Stila) for this look. But feel free to glide on some red lipstick (I love ‘Beso‘ by Stila and ‘American Doll‘ by Anastasia Beverly Hills). A special night out calls for a unique clutch. My go-to date night clutch is sold out but there is a similar one available here. Slip into your favorite suede pumps and your Valentine’s Day outfit is complete.

Take my advice and make sure to enjoy your Valentine’s Day. We all deserve  day to spend with the people we love most. After all, it is our friends and family that brings out our best selves. I have also linked some additional Valentine’s Day dress ideas below.
