Hi loves! This week, I am focusing on one of my favorite accessories: scarves. Later this week, I am going to be introducing you to Sinchi Scarf Clip that adds a modern look to your favorite scarves. If you are looking to add glam to your look, this is the accessory for you. In the meantime, here is my review on one of my new favorite dress from Banana Republic (that is available in petite sizes). Yay!

Dress: Banana Republic , Purse: Ann Taylor in Antique Rouge.

I am wearing this dress in a size 4 and it fits like a glove. The dress comes a little past your knee and it super comfortable. The scarf pattern on this dress is absolutely stunning. This is certainly a great choice for any graduations or wedding you made have coming up this spring.

Banana Republic never fails to impress me. This stunning piece has pockets in them. Additionally, the dress is made out of polyester, so it is light and easy to clean. This dress comes in two colors. If you want to stay away from a red color, this dress is also available in a blue colored pattern. This dress is available online. If you have a Banana Republic credit card, be sure to take advantage of the 30% off discount available when you use code BRSUMMER online.

Hola familia! I am certainly a woman who likes to receive things in the mail. My previous experience with Stitch Fix made me curious to find out more about Trunk Club. It shares a lot of similarities to Stitch Fix  but also a plethora of differences. Now, let’s see if Trunk Club is right for you.

Trunk Club much like Stitch Fix, pairs you with a personal stylist. For anyone who has tried Stitch Fix, the only way to communicate with your stylist is through the Stitch Fix website.  Trunk Club offers you several ways to communicate with your stylist: through their app, e-mail, text, and even by giving them a phone call. This extra attention certainly gave my stylist Maren a great sense of my style and what I wanted for my first box.

My stylist Maren called me a few days after I signed up for my first Trunk Club. She was super enthusiastic to get to know me and what my personal style is. The packaging of Trunk Club is very different from Stitch Fix. Two pairs of shoes were in my box along with several articles of clothing.

Boy, did she pay attention to every detail that I gave her! I expressed to Maren my love of floral prints, fringe, and strips. She was sure to add each of these elements inside my box. I will say this, it was extremely hard for me to part with a lot of the items in this box.

Unboxing my first Trunk Club. How gorgeous is this Eliza J dress!?

Maren was very frank with me by saying that the price range of Stitch Fix and Trunk Club are far different. Indeed, Trunk Club is a bit more expensive per item. Maren explained that the clothes and dresses that are sent through Trunk Club are Nordstrom quality and pricing. Needless to say, one of the gorgeous pairs of jeans that Maren sent where $200 dollars. It is a shame because both pairs of jean sent fit like a glove.

When I saw this shirt in my e-mail I was a little skeptical. I had a pleasant surprise when I realized that Maren had made an excellent choice. The water-colored design of this Cupcakes and Cashmere shirt is stunning and fit me perfectly!

All in all, I am extremely happy with my first experience with Trunk Club. One thing that sets this company apart from Stitch Fix is that you do receive an e-mail before you get your box that shows what is coming (and what you can ask your stylist not to add). Trunk Club also offers personalized communication with you and your stylist. Stitch Fix charges you a $20 stylist fee that is a credit you can put towards a purchase you may get through your Fix. Trunk Club does not charge a stylist fee, so if you truly do not want to purchase anything, you are not obligated to do so. Since the price range is a little higher, I would differently recommend Trunk Club is you are looking to add pieces to your wardrobe for a special occasion (or if you want to indulge in some much-needed shopping without leaving home).

Maren even added the perfect summer maxi dress with a removable belt to my first Trunk Club. Dress: Eliza J.

When you decide to get your first Trunk Club, be sure to be specific with your wants, needs, and style of fashion. Mention to your stylist your favorite prints (Aztec, stripes, etc). Also, be sure to include information about yourself like your body shape, what celebrity’s fashion you look up to, etc. This information will help your stylist find you the right pieces. I can tell you from my experience that whoever your stylist may be, they will not disappoint you.

Thank- you Maren!

This post has been updated as of 06/29/16. Maren is no longer with Trunk Club. My new stylist is Dana, who is also a fantastic stylist!

The Reveled Smokey Palette is another Birchbox find that I fell in love with. The colors are exquisitely pigmented with a light shimmer. This is my go-to palette for special events and date nights. Laura Geller is a line that is fairly new to me. Their baked bronzers, blushes, and foundation offer great coverage without looking like you are wearing too much makeup. To keep your makeup fresh, Laura Geller offers several types of primers for all face types.

You can will a few of Birchbox favorites. These Stila matte lipsticks are great for spring and go great with most complexions. Benefit’s Manizer Luminzer work great as a highlighter, blush, or eyeshadow.

LORAC’s pro palette offers the best combination of drama and soft colors. These colors are all highly pigmented, making them my go-to eyeshadow selection.

Hola familia! As a devoted Disney fan, I was thrilled that Lauren Conrad and Alice in Wonderland designer Colleen Atwood have decided to show off some of the film’s iconic looks. The LC Lauren Conrad’s new collection is officially available online on April 25 (Colleen Atwood’s will be available online May 1st). In the meantime, I was able to find a few pieces of this collection at my local Kohls store. I will be sure to add links to each of the pieces as soon as they are available online. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak of some of my favorite pieces from both collections.

Can’t go wrong with hearts right? This adorable sleeveless shirt featured a gorgeous pattern that can go great with any outfit. I love that this shirt featured a tie front to add a feminine look. The material is pretty thin so I do recommend that you sport this dress either with a bandeau bra or a tank top.

Off with your head if you are not a fan of this red queen inspired dress! The dress is made out of a chiffon material, so it is easy to wash. One of my favorite perks of this dress is that it has pockets! A dress like this pairs great with a blazer or your favorite leather jacket.

Alternatively, if you want to shy away from the red heart dress, this white vision is a stunner. I absolutely love the floral pattern that was selected for this dress. Be sure to keep an eye out for this one. This looks like a dress that will sell out quick.

We are all a little mad here, right? Talk about the perfect tea time dress. This beautiful dress featured watercolored teapots. It shows off a ruffle portion on the front of the dress that gives it an elegant look. This dress is also a made out of a chiffon material so it is very light and flowy.

Hola familia! This year, I decided to take part in getting a Stitch Fix. What is Stitch Fix? It is a company that gives you customized looks by a stylist. This is the fourth Stitch Fix I have received and I did end up purchasing two of the five items that were sent to me. Here are the items I fell in love with.

Blouse: Jenipher Peplum Blouse via Stitch Fix, Skirt: Banana Republic (old).

Now I have to be up front with you all. At first, I was not too excited for my fix when I opened the box. I had asked my stylist to not add tops in my fix (because I have way too many). So why was I not filled about my fix? Well, my stylist packed two tops in my fix. Nonetheless, I was determined to at least try both tops instead of getting upset. This gorgeous lace top is the Jennipher Peplum Blouse.

Blouse: Jennipher Peplum Blouse, Jeans: Just Black Amira High Rise Skinny Jeans. Both products via Stitch Fix.

My stylist did a great job in finding a piece that I can use both at work or casually. The lace details give a great romantic look. The material is polyester which is great because it does not wrinkle much like chiffon material. The jeans that are featured these images are also from my Stitch Fix. The jeans are super comfortable. The best part? They are made in America (whoop whoop).

The featured Banana Republic Watercolor Pencil Skirt is no longer available online. You can still purchase a skirt with this same pattern here.

Stitch Fix is a great service. It’s fun to open the box to see what your stylist selects for you. I like to order fixes once in a while, since the clothes can be a bit pricey for anyone looking to stay on track with their budget. Much like Birchbox, Stitch Fix allows for users to customize their preferences for future purchases. Give StitchFix a try. You might find yourself some pretty interesting pieces to add to your wardrobe.
