I guess it is safe to say that cooler weather is here to stay on the east coast! I was inspired by Jean from Extra Petite to buy this beautiful plaid wrap coat from Chic Wish. The colors are perfect for fall and it is perfect for layering. I chose to layer this look with my favorite gray turtle neck that I for from Forever 21. The best part? The coat has pockets and it is sure to flatter all body types thanks to the belt it comes with.

This coat runs true to size, so don’t panic when it comes time to order it. I am wearing it in a size S. I am going to be honest guys, this is the only piece that I have bought from Chic Wish. I am still getting to know more about the company as far as their products are concerned. If you are in the same boat, take extra caution by ensuring that a product has several reviews before you commit to purchasing anything. Since costs from returns can add up quickly!

Finding flattering coat for a petite framed woman is much easier than you might think. This jacket from J.Crew is currently one of my new favorite items. It’s very elegant but runs small so be sure to size up! And keep an eye out for a review coming to the blog later this month when more colors are hopefully in stock. Petite trench coats are also very flattering for petites. You can find inspiration from one of my posts here. And when all else fails, you can always opts for a vegan leather jacket. One of my favorite ones has been review here.

Be sure to also check out my favorite farms and wineries to go to  in New Jersey and New York here. I am a little biased but autumn is pretty magical out here on the east coast. 😘🍁

Hi loves! Thanksgiving will be here before we know it. During the holidays, I love to make simple and easy sweets treats to give to my friends and family. That is why I am so excited that I am collaborating with Hershey to share with your my Hershey kiss acorns that I made last year. It’s super easy to make and no baking is required!

Here is what you are going to need:

A bag of Hershey kisses

A bag of chocolate morsels

a bag of mini Nutter butter cookies

Bring a medium size pot to boil. While you are waiting for your water to boil, un-wrap your Hershey’s kisses and have your mini Nutter butters out of their container. Once your water is boiling, add a half a cup of morsels to a small pot over the medium pot to melt your chocolate. Take a knife, add some of your melted chocolate to a Hershey’s kiss to have secure on a mini Nutter butter. One your mini Nutter butters have a kiss on them,  press them down for about five seconds. Then proceed to your morsels. Add some melted chocolate and stick the morsel to the end of the cookie. Then, viola! Your acorns are ready to delight your guests. Chill in your refrigerator if you are not serving them right away.

Thank you Hershey’s for sponsoring this post! It was truly a delight to collaborate with a brand a trust and use on a day-to-day- basis.

Trench coats are literally a live-saver this time of year. Since the weather has been very inconsistent, I have been using my trench coat quite a bit this year. If you are always cold like I am, this is a piece that is great to wear in the office. There are a wide variety of colors for petite trench coats. However, I decided to get one in a neutral color so I can add some color to my look with accessories or a bright lipstick.

Lauren Conrad has recently added scarfs to her collection at Kohls (which I am really excited about). This loop scarf is so feminine and fun to wear. To bring out the pinks in the scarf, I chose to wear a blush hat that I got from Target. The bag that I have paired with this look is also from LC Lauren Conrad. It’s sold out but there is a similar blush bag you can purchase here. Throw on a pair of suede knee high boots and your look is complete!

Do you have a trench coat of your own? I am always looking to discover new brands. Feel free to leave me a comment below about your favorite trench coats.

What a weekend! One of my closest friends is expecting her first daughter. Needless to say, her mother went all out for her baby shower. Since fall is her favorite season, the shower was filled with pumpkins, chocolate and of course, the color orange!

I have only ever been to a few baby showers, so I will be the first to admit that I was freaking out about what to wear. During a recent trip to J.Crew, a friendly worker told me about a sweater dress that she fell in love with at the store. Guys, I HATE sweater dresses.  I usually do not like how I look in them but this one is so flattering! If you are self-conscious of your mid-section as I am, don’t worry. This is a sweater dress that does indeed look great to wear!

My friend Deanne is also a kitty lover, so I knew she would appreciate my new kitty purse. I could you not like this purse, it is so freaking cute!! As a side note, I lost the “what’s in my purse” game since this purse is pretty tiny and I only put my tube of lipstick in it. It comes in one color and I totally recommend you get it as soon as you can. I am sure it is going to sell out (there are a lot of kitty lovers out there you know lol).

Hi loves! I am no stranger when it comes to floral print. I love that the past few years has offered floral embroidery on dresses, tops, boots and much more. Since mother nature cannot seem to make up it’s mind, I have not put away my off the shoulder tops just yet. If you ask me, an Indian summer is nothing to complain about ;). Below I have linked several floral embroidery pieces ranging from different prices (and are all from my favorite brands). Feel free to leave me a comment below!
